Styron Selects Philadelphia Area for Global Headquarters Location
Yesterday Styron made an announcement that it has selected the Philadelphia, PA area for its headquarters / Global Operations Center, which is expected to employ between 40 and 50 people, including executive management, finance and legal.
In addition, the company announced that its North America Operations Center (NAOC) will be based in Midland, MI. Styron has several research labs, a paper latex pilot coater and a number of Styron manufacturing units located there. The company said it expects to retain approx. 180 jobs in Midland, making it the largest location in the U.S.
Styron has its other regional operations centers in Hong Kong (Asia-Pacific); Sao Paulo, Brazil (Latin America); and Horgen, outside Zurich, Switzerland (Europe & MEAF).
