Lavollée Chimie becomes Lavollee SA : Corporate announcement
On 1st August 2010 the company Lavollée Chimie will change name to LAVOLLEE SA. This name change reflects the inclusion of natural products and products made via “green chemistry” into the traditional specialty chemical portfolio.
Chemicals derived from petroleum and mineral specialties are still today the largest part of the distribution activity of LAVOLLEE SA. The existing company structure is not affected by the change in name. Internet domain names and e-mail addresses will be brought into line with the new name.
LAVOLLEE SA was created in 1963, and is today one of the independent French leaders for the distribution of ingredients, raw materials and natural products into the following industries: Lubricants, Polymers, Coatings, Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, Flavors and Fragrances, and food. LAVOLLEE SA is a member since it was founded 10 years ago, of the LEL network. This is an alliance of privately owned European distributors of chemical and mineral specialities and natural products with sales across European.
